What to do in the moment
Flow Club sessions are spaces for getting work done. You are not expected to referee interpersonal issues. If someone breaks the Community Guidelines, report it, and we'll act.
Here's what to do in the situations hosts actually run into, with words you can paste into chat.
If someone is distracting or straying off-topic when sharing Remind the group, not the person. Say: "Quick reminder that we're here to focus and we have limited time for sharing. Let's get back to it." If distracting or off-topic behavior continues, mute them or turn off their video and say so in chat: "Muted you for now so everyone can focus."
Someone is clearly breaking the rules on purpose Anything sexual, nudity, slurs, harassment, insults, or someone who was removed before and came back. Report and remove them right away. No warning needed, no explanation owed. Say to the room afterward: "Sorry about that. They're gone. Let's keep going."
If two people are arguing Don't referee. Bring the room back to productivity. Say: "Please take this offline. Let's get back to work, everyone." If it crosses into personal attacks or harassment, report it to us.
Something about a participant worries you, but no rule is obviously broken You are not expected to handle it. Report it to us and keep the session moving, don't confront or single the person out in front of the group, and email safety@flow.club afterward with information about what worried you. Our Community Guidelines explain why a session isn't the right place for someone in crisis, and the same goes for anything else that doesn't fit here.
You feel unsafe Leave. Say in chat: "I'm ending this session now, please leave too." Then email safety@flow.club when you're ready. Your safety comes before the session.
