How to report disruptive behavior

Edited

If you are a host, check out the host controls to keep sessions safe.

Flow Club is designed to help you focus and sustain your effort. We expect everyone to follow our Community Guidelines. If something happens in a session that feels disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe, please first protect yourself.

Protect yourself first

If it's a minor annoyance, you can hide the user's video to stay focused. If it's a major disruption and only if you are able, please report the behavior using the flag icon. If you don't feel comfortable staying to report, prioritize protecting yourself by exiting. You can always email safety@flow.club afterward.

Reporting an inappropriate chat message

If someone sends an offensive or inappropriate message in chat, you can report that exact message.

  1. Hover your mouse over the message

  2. Click the flag icon

  3. In the pop-up, please add helpful context

  4. Click Submit

All reports are private. They will be reviewed by our team, and we'll take action if necessary.

Reporting a disruptive participant

Sometimes the issue isn’t a specific chat message — it’s someone’s overall behavior in the session.

To report a participant:

  1. Hover over their video tile

  2. Click the flag icon

  3. In the pop-up, please add helpful context. This is especially important since we don't record or store session audio/video. We rely on your context.

  4. Click Submit

All reports are private. They will be reviewed by our team, and we'll take action if necessary.

Please email us

If you want to share additional information — including screenshots — you can email us at: safety@flow.club

This is especially helpful if:

  • the issue happened outside the session UI

  • you had to exit immediately to minimize harm

  • you have more detail than the report form allows

What happens after you report

When you submit a report, it goes directly to our team and a human reviewer will look at it to evaluate and take the appropriate steps as described in the Enforcement section of our Community Guidelines. We may follow up with you to gather more information.

We are not always able to follow-up or reveal the outcome due to confidentiality, but every report is reviewed and contributes to keeping sessions safe. Thank you.
