Why host?

Edited

Flow Club started with just Ricky and David hosting. Within weeks, members asked to host too. They wanted to pick the time, pick the music, and lead with their own style. Hosting turned out to be the best way to hold yourself accountable, because you feel the pull to lead by example. In return you get to feel the community's appreciation for a small but real role in their success. - Flow Club Hosting Guidelines

There are several reasons you might want to be a host:

  • Hosts are the leaders of the community. You set the tone, which ends up raising your own commitment level

  • You get to hold space, bring your personality, your own playlist, and feel accomplished facilitating others’ flows

  • You get to build relationships with Flow Clubbers who look to you as the leader and their primary body double

  • You can create Flow Clubs whenever you want

  • You can discount your Flow Club membership by 50% by hosting 10 sessions a month

  • You can build valuable interpersonal and facilitation skills

  • You can run private sessions for your team or friends

Please note that on Flow Club, hosts are peers, not coaches. You're not there to supervise anyone or offer advice; you open the session, run the check-in, and work on your own tasks alongside everyone else
