We recommend reviewing the basic hosting questions and sample script first.

Questions to help identify "frogs" or most important tasks:

  • “If you could only complete one task today, which one would it be and why?”

  • “Which task would bring the most satisfaction or relief once completed?”

  • “What is the task that you are most resistant to? Why?”

  • “Which task would you want to tackle with your peak energy time of the day?”

  • “What task can act as a catalyst, making other tasks easier or irrelevant?”

  • “What task, if left undone, would have consequences like additional work?”

Questions to help make things easier on the brain:

  • “Do you find any task particularly challenging to start or complete? Can it be broken down into smaller, more manageable parts?”

  • “Which tasks are you finding particularly interesting today?”

  • “Are there tasks on your list that align well with your unique strengths? Can we prioritize them?”

  • “Do you have tasks that you’re finding boring? How can we make these tasks more engaging?”

  • “Are you dealing with any mental health challenges today that could be impacting your productivity? Would you like to check your feelings in briefly so you can get moving?”

Questions to help people be more aware their energy level:

  • “On a scale from 1 to 10, how would you rate your current energy level?”

  • “Do you feel ready to tackle a challenging task now, or would a less demanding task be more suitable?”

  • “Have you taken any breaks today?”

  • “Are you staying hydrated and nourished?”

  • “Have you done any physical movement, like a walk or stretch, to help boost your energy?”

Questions to help people reflect on flow state (good for the end of a session):

  • “Do you feel like you’re in a good flow?”

  • “Do you feel like you have momentum?”

  • “Are the tasks feeling easier?”

  • “Did your energy increase or decrease in the last hour?”
